Albendazole tablet 250mg; 600mg; 2500mg Pharmacological properties:    Albendazole is a broad spectrum anthelmintic for control of the following infections in sheep, goats, cattle and camels:  

larval and adult stages of gastro-intestinal nematodes:	Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp.(including hypobiotic Ostertagia larvae), Trichostrongylus spp., Oesphagostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirum spp., Capillaria spp., Bunostomum spp., Strongyloides spp. in small ruminants, cattle and camels-Chabertia ovina, Marshallagia marshali and Gaigeria pachyscelis in sheep.
adult and larval lungworm nematodes:	Dictyocaulus spp., Protostrongylus spp. (small ruminants).
adult liver flukes:	Fasciola hepatica (small ruminants, cattle)-Dicrocoelium dendriticum (small ruminants)-Fasciola gigantica, Fascioloides magna, Paramphistoma (cattle)
tapeworms (removing of segments and scolices):	Moniezia spp..

         Moreover, at recommended doses albendazole shows ovicidal activity against nematodal and fluke eggs. Indications:    Control and treatment of infectations caused by gastro-intestinal - and lung-nematodes, Moniezia and liver flukes. Dosage and administration:for oral administration only.    250mg

Sheep, goats:	1 bolus/50-60 kg b.w.
Cattle, camels:	3 boli/100 kg b.w.

        In case severe infection with liver flukes is present or suspected:

Sheep, goats:	1 bolus/30-40 kg b.w. (large liver fluke) 1 bolus/25 kg b.w. (small liver fluke)
Cattle:	4 boli/100 kg b.w. (Fasciola hepatica) 6 boli/100 kg b.w. (F.gigantica, F.magna, Paramphistoma)

        Animals constantly exposed to internal parasites should be retreated as necessary.     2500mg   

Control and treatment of infestations caused by gastro-intestinal and long nemathodes, Moniezia and liver flukes:	1 bolus/300-350 kg b.w.
In case severe infestation with liver flukes is present or suspected:	1 bolus/250 kg b.w. (Fasciola hepatica) 1 bolus-200 kg b.w. (F.gigantica, F.magna, Paramphistoma)

Side effects and warnings:    Because teratogenic effects have been reported in rats, rabbits and sheep, recommended dose rate should not be exceeded in early pregnancy (i.e. the first 45 days of pregnancy).    Albendazole is a very safe drug in ruminants. No side effects are likely to be expected after oral administration of recommended doses. Pack size:    box with 100boli or 50 boli
